C.A.T.E. (Compiler Assistant for Technical Enhancement) is an AI-powered educational platform designed to transform the learning experience of computer science students by addressing gaps in technical understanding, accessibility, and support. As a multimodal AI agent, C.A.T.E. integrates text, enabling personalised assistance in code explanation, research navigation, and conceptual learning. Its advanced features include context-aware multi-session support, allowing users to resume learning seamlessly without repeating prior inputs. To further enhance student engagement and inclusivity, C.A.T.E. supports bilingual learning, particularly in English and Malay, while incorporating culturally relevant examples aligned with local educational norms. Its interface is intuitively designed for students with limited technical skills, ensuring usability without compromising functionality. The evaluation was conducted through surveys involving 65 participants (students) from Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. C.A.T.E. also integrates external resources such as Wikipedia, YouTube, and Google Books via GraphQL, offering real-time access to reliable research materials. By emphasizing accuracy, clarity, and equitable access, C.A.T.E. aligns with global goals such as SDG 4 by promoting quality education through step-by-step assistance, SDG 9 by leveraging cutting-edge AI innovation for education, and SDG 10 by reducing inequalities through accessible design. This platform represents a significant step forward in leveraging artificial intelligence to democratize and enhance technical education for all
