Abstract for Project

Alumni are individuals who have graduated from a university or institution. To maintain strong connections and remain relevant to this group, higher education institutions must establish platforms that enable efficient access and retrieval of alumni data. The main objective of developing such a platform is to minimize barriers in accessing crucial information, including university affiliation, career development, and skill-enhancement programs tailored for graduates. This research investigates the development and progression of alumni systems within higher education, focusing on a case study of a private university located in the Klang Valley. It explores the web development frameworks applied in the system and identifies the specific requirements of alumni users. A responsive web design, emphasizing aesthetic appeal, has been integrated regardless of system constraints. As a result, the ALUMNIApps portal was developed to serve this purpose. Future research will incorporate dashboard analytics to evaluate alumni data, enabling university management to make informed, strategic decisions.
