EDUBRIDGE SPM: A CENTRALIZED PLATFORM FOR SPM PAST PAPERS AND EXAM PREPARATION

The Malaysian education system places high importance on the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination as a key milestone for secondary school students. However, many students face difficulties in accessing diverse and reliable preparation materials, particularly past year examination papers, speaking test guidelines, and writing tips. These resources are often scattered across multiple platforms or remain within individual schools, creating unequal opportunities for learning. This paper proposes EduBridge SPM, an innovative digital platform designed to centralize and streamline access to SPM preparation materials from various school types, including government schools (SMK), MARA Junior Science Colleges (MRSM), and National-Type Schools (SJK). The platform allows verified teachers to upload exam papers, which are then categorized by subject, year, school, and format for easy retrieval. Additionally, EduBridge SPM integrates a speaking test simulator and writing preparation module, providing students with guided practice and model answers to improve their performance. By leveraging cloud-based storage and an intuitive search interface, the platform ensures cost-effective implementation while minimizing the need for printed materials. The proposed solution contributes to educational equity by bridging the gap between resource-rich and resource-limited schools, fostering collaboration among educators, and supporting students in rural or underserved areas such as Sabah and Sarawak. With potential for nationwide adoption and commercialisation, EduBridge SPM aligns with Malaysia’s digital education agenda, offering scalable integration with existing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and opportunities for monetisation through premium features. This innovation ultimately aims to empower students to achieve their best in SPM through accessible, organized, and high-quality learning resources.
