ABSTRACT
Quranic literacy serves as a cornerstone of Islamic education, particularly for beginner learners. The Iqra method is a phonetic approach that facilitates the foundational learning of Arabic letters and reading proficiency in a progressive manner. However, traditional pedagogical approaches often struggle with engagement and accessibility, particularly in remote or home-based learning contexts. This project aims to enhance the efficacy of the Iqra method through the integration of digital technologies, thereby improving learner motivation and accessibility. The IQRABuddy platform was designed by combining conventional teaching methodologies with innovative digital audio video aids and AI. This integration enhances learner engagement, promotes autonomous study, and broadens access to Quranic education across diverse environments such as schools, homes, and community centers. Ultimately, the fusion of traditional practices with technological advancements positions IQRABuddy as a flexible, inclusive, and effective solution to the increasing demand for contemporary, technology-driven Islamic education.
