AUDITWHIZZ: EMPOWERING DECISIONS WITH DATA-DRIVEN INSIGHT

ABSTRACT   

AuditWhizz is a web-based tool developed to improve the reporting of Quality Management System (QMS) performance, particularly internal audit. Previously, audit reporting was conducted using narrative reports and static graphics generated in Microsoft Excel, which was manual-intensive, noninteractive, and did not encourage real-time tracking by stakeholders. Aware of these limitations, the project adopted the Knowledge Management Framework as its strategic foundation, focusing on three main aspects: knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge utilisation. These were attained through the integration of real audit data collected between 2022 and 2024, combined with Google Sheets' collaborative functionality and Looker Studio's dynamic visualisation features. The ultimate outcome is an interactive and user-friendly reporting system that enables real-time monitoring and informs decision-making. To measure its efficacy, the usability of AuditWhizz was experimented with by 30 participants through an online survey. The findings revealed a high level of user satisfaction, with strong appreciation for its ability to manage audit data efficiently, provide timely insights, and deliver accessible, real-time visual reports tailored for stakeholders’ needs.
