ABSTRACT  

The Celik Programming module is an innovative digital teaching and learning platform designed to address the challenges of Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) students in mastering the fundamentals of Java programming. Most of the students struggle in understanding programming concepts due to conventional methods of teaching, lack of sufficient class hours, and the unavailability of textbooks in Malay language. This module leverages a Blended Learning approach, which integrates Constructivist Theory, Creative Problem-Solving, and Cognitive Load Theory to create an interactive, student-focused, and immersive learning environment. Designed as an interactive web-based platform, Celik Programming offers access from multiple devices, enabling the students to study independently and collaboratively, inside and outside of the classroom. The module was developed using the ADDIE instructional design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to ensure high usability and relevance. It contains systematic content on Java programming basics, visual learning aids, hands-on exercises, and interactive activities for facilitating better understanding and retention. Early findings on implementation indicate that Celik Programming significantly enhances students' motivation, conceptual understanding, and programming skills Beyond fulfilling the current shortage of localized programming references, this module offers a modern, flexible, and innovative learning solution that aligns with the demands of vocational education and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0).
